Free Photo & Video Hosting?
I was using ImageShack from past few years and suddenly came across this message:
ImageShack is getting out of business of free image hosting. If you have images hosted with us, and do have free account, consider moving them to other sites.
Can anyone suggest me free photo and video hosting websites...? I did some research and found Uploadly.com which offers free hosting for photos and videos.
I am looking for more option so I can compare and choose the best one. Please suggest if you know few...

Can’t open links:(
People often link their photos to ImageShack. Why can’t i open them via their link? I come to their homepage where an account is requiered. I then created an account and signed in, pressed the links again - But they still don’t work. I just come to my own empty album. Please help!

That can be because the posters account has expired, or the link for other reasons is no longer working, or the poster has made a mistake.
Signing up will not make a difference.
I suggest you post a message saying the link doesn't work or PM the poster.

I think that must be it indeed.
You can also send the mod. team a PM with a link to the problem. We can see if we can repair, replace or delete the link.

At the very beginning of The Royal Forums posting photos directly was a standard procedure. But in 2005 we've adjusted our forum's rules to the US copyright law, since then you must either obtain written permission from the copyright owner for posting his/her photo directly or you can share photos via links to websites or links provided by image hosting sites.
Detailed information can be found at our Community Rules and at our Membership FAQ.

For me it would be enough it it was back to early 2019, when the mobile app was (or shall I say "had been", as it was so long ago) working. But I feel the restoration of Greek monarchy is much closer to reality than restoration of The Royal Forums mobile app.

What's the problem with the mobile app?
I use it for reading, but not for posting though, too big fingers. Works very well in that capacity.

After the intro/logo screen it kicks me out with a notification "Network error, try again later (get_config)" - and that's for about two years now.

I assume you have tried to uninstall the TRF app and then reinstall it?
Try doing a Google: Network error, try again later (get_config)
It appears to be a common problem.
A toast message that is popping up.
You can try using this tool to see what app is creating the message and then uninstall the app alternatively update the app.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ndroid.toaster
A toast message is the empty grey field that often appears at the bottom of the screen when logging in to TRF.
In my case the field goes away after clicking a topic or anything for that matter.
You also try and bookmark a page deeper down in TRF, say the BRF subforum. And start from there in the future.
My startpage when logging into the TRF is the DRF subforum.
No problem, except for the grey field, which goes away.

Is it just me or did Instagram ban all non-members from seeing any Instagram-posts. They recently limited viewing of posts to direct links but it seems they have completely blocked Instagram for non-members.
If that's the general experience, I would kindly ask those posting Instagram links to specifically state that it is an Instagram link so those of us without an account know that we don't need to bother clicking on it.
