countries of each member?

why now the forum puts the country and sometimes the city where the members lives?

That information used to show up on the right under the join date. It disappeared when the server was upgraded, and a lot of people have asked for it to be put back.

Is there any way to hide our location? I would prefer for people not to see it.

The location list is easy to fool since you get to select your options. For example, a person living in Australia can have under his/her name a Canadian location, just to throw people off. But what you can't fool is the power of the management team to pin point the true location.

I'm from Spain but post from the USA northern east coast region known as New England. And no, is not a state, is not a town, is just the name of a geographical area comprised by several states that formed some of the original colonies, the new england of the new world.

If you don't wish people to know where you live, you can simply not add that information to your profile, or as Toledo said, make something up.
