Broken and corrupted picture/video links

This has happened to me before - I click on a photo expecting to see a princess fully dressed and instead I end up seeing some trashy "model" without any dress sense and certainly no clothes on!

I am mainly worried that these links give my laptop a computervirus, hacker, I have no idea about these things.

There are no details given so it's difficult to check it out or be specific. However, we know that the Supload picture hosting site is one which should not be used by members because it has been hijacked and corrupted.

If anyone comes across corrupt links the "report this post" feature will bring it to to the Mods' attention [click the red triangle icon in the top right corner of each post].

I don't know if this can be solved in any way, but whenever I've clicked on "imagevenue" pictures, I also get an adult website and the last time there were horrible pictures on it. One of the moderators reloaded to imageshack and when I clicked on it, got the same site. I'm in no way pointing a finger or blaming the poster for this, it just happens and is there any way to solve this? I realize there probably is not, but thought I would ask. Thanks a lot!

Unfortunately there is no real way to solve this problem, Katrianna.

It's not the fault of any of our posters here, these two mentioned
picture hosting sites (and others) refinance themselves with that
kind of annoying advertising. Best thing is to ignore and quickly close
those pop-up windows. I would also suggest not to use these image
hosting sites, but the number of image hosting sites that don't demand
a registration is of course limited, therefore a perfect solution can't be
found at the moment..

Thank you iceflower, I know it isn't any posters. It's unfortunate that these occurrences happen from time to time.
