I don't share the same opinion Shrifia. It's absolutlutly not a quick referendum. People had almost 4 months since last King M VI's speech beginning of last March to give their suggestions, propositions and to express what they are sicking for as reforms, and this referendum for the new constitution is coming as an answer for their demands, which is basically a very big step. And aas you said, those are acts and not only words as it had been elsewhere...Of course you can't satisfy eveybody, but mostly what's coming from those reforms is a big change and for the interest of the moroccan people.

Telquel Magazine mention in her issue this week that the king will visit France just after the referendum of the 1th July.
this visit should took place a long time ago.now, would be intersting to see if Lalla salma will go with him.

It is a private or an official visit?
Do you know if any of the moroccan royals will attend the monegasque wedding? I know King MVI of Morocco and Prince Albert of Monaco are very close friends, but according to moroccan protocol, moroccan kings don't attend weddings, only princes and princesses...

it's a state visit Sephora,Telquel said that the king might attend the French national day of July 14.
as said Shrifia in her last post this visit should took place last year but for unknown reasons was postponed, there is no more informations about this visit in others papers but maybe we will hear about that soon.

Morocco Votes On King Mohamed VI's Constitution Referendum Despite Protester's Claims
Quote:
... The monarch was among those voting, casting his ballot in a chic Rabat neighborhood but, like every other voter, not before his voting card and ID were checked against the list. He voted with his brother, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid.
Crowds were small but steady at voting stations in a working class neighborhood of Sale, outside the capital Rabat.
Voters are given two pieces of paper, one for a "yes" vote and one for a "no" vote, then they place one in an envelope and into the urn. The "yes" ballot is white, and the "no" ballot light blue, so that illiterate voters can participate.
In the Moroccan countryside, voter turnout was stronger in the morning, before a searing heat descended. Officials at different voting stations said turnout was around 25 percent to 35 percent by late morning.
Cafile Roqiya, a 54-year-old in glasses and a headscarf in the town of Benslimane, said she was voting yes "because there has been much progress. It is much better than before. The king keeps us stable and at peace amidst much upheaval." ...
