Princess Nilufer Sultan has won a court battle in Turkey for the right to legally bear her dynastic surname of Osmanoglu.
The court also agreed that her official papers [birth record, passport] be updated to reflect the change.

Nilüfer Sultan is now officially 'Osmanoğlu'

Abdülmecit the 31th great-grandson of Ottoman Sultan and Prince Burhanuddin Nilüfer Cem Cem girl living in Switzerland (60), a descendant of the Ottoman dynasty 'Osmanoğlu' surnames gained. Court of First Instance in Istanbul last year asking to be changed by suing the surname Nilufer Cem yesterday, in the case of a court decision 'Osmanoğlu' as their last name. In accordance with the Turkish Citizenship Law 11 years ago last Cem Turkish citizenship, also a U.S. citizen. Nilüfer Cem Cem's late father Burhanuddin name in the passport in 2005 (Osmanoğlu) were recorded as changes were made.

90 years of the Ottoman exile

Forced to leave their homeland 90 years ago, of the 250 Osmans and retainers who left, only one person is alive today.

In March the past an important historical events need to be processed and handled domestic policy before and after the local authority elections was bypassed due to the hot agenda . Osmanoğulları called the Ottoman dynasty in family life today, 25 princes and sultans is 13 . In addition, the sultan sultanza with children 20 and 14 who are Sultanas . 12 of princes and princesses in life , those Sultanas sultanza and 8 of them lives in Istanbul . So these 72 people , 52 lives abroad continues . Princes of the oldest of the 23 June 1924 Bayezid Osman Effendi was born in Paris and is the head of the dynasty . Currently lives in the United States .

Our state in recent years, members of this family show and Seb-i Arus its proximity , such as the conquest of Istanbul is invited to the ceremony . Although this kind gesture and welcomed the sultanate grandfather 623 years in this country have done more members of this family deserves .

Ottoman Imperial Family
This is my blok about the imperial family :)
I am a big fan of Princess nilüfer Sultan. She has a gold charity work in Europe an good realations to the German nobility and the Jordan.
Thank you sancakli for posting the photos from the gala de Bern. I know that she and her brother lives in switzerland.
Here in Salzburg is living Princess Margot Leyla Sultan, her daughter Princess Katharina hanimsultan and her brother prince Roland Selim, but i sawn't them.
I hope we can discuss Herr with some members oft THR the imperial family.

In the last two months we losts two wonderful princesses:( god bless them

I know that the first son of prince roland selim is marries with a russian. Princess katharina hanimsultan is now 34 years old!

In the turkish press is only the children of prince osman selahattin and the children an grandchildren pf prince harun present. In Europe are only Princess nilufer and prince Selim present. They habe good realatuon to the Jordans. They were at the wedding of crown prince of jordan . i think Princess ayshe was at wedding of prince of Cambridge ?

It is sad that the young members married non turkishs. They loves from the türkisch citizens but the members Mord english, austrian, French AS türkisch is so sad:(
I hope the members has good realationship to European Royals like the other non ereignen bulgaria, Romania. They attents tzhe weddings and more
 
Yes your right feride.
Only the children of prince harun lives in turkey and marries turkish people and the youngest son of prince osman selahattin who is half english.
Many of them can't speak turkish! !
