Homosexuality isn't accepted by society, at least not openly. It is widespread and a blind eye is turned providing that it isn't out in the open. I don't think AIDS work would earn him the derision of his family, though.

I didn't even know Jaffna had a royal family.

I am very glad to know that you have learnt more about Jaffna Royal family.As a Jaffna Tamil,I am very happy that now you know that Jaffna Royal did exist long time ago.I am honoured that my effort to disseminate information & knowledge about the Jaffna Royal Family & Jaffna people is appreciated.I have heard about the Kandyan Royal Family but go no information about them.If you have any information about them do please share with me.

Manolya Onur (born 1955) is a turkish model, who was crowned miss turkey in 1976. She was the third wife of hyderabad nizam mukarram jah.
Manolya represented turkey in 1976 miss universe beauty pageant and enjoyed a successful career as a model from 1976 to 1978. She spent six years in france studying English, French, German as well as the History of Art at the Sorbonne University, France. She is former wife of süha özgermi.
Manolya married Mukarram Jah in August 1990 at ciran palace, Hyderabad and became a princess styled as H.H. Manolya-i-Nur Begum Sahiba. She lived in india and australia during her marriage. Their daughter Niloufer (named after princess niloufer ) was born in 1991. Nizam divorced Manolya in 1993 at geneva, swizerland. After her divorce, Manolya moved back to Turkey and since then she has been living in istanbul and working for charitable institutions such as Osteoporosis Patient Society of Turkey.

Irecently heard that the last decscents of the mughals are in kashmir and in fact finacially they are in very bad state, the indian government were going to do something about it untl people protested that the family were not the govenments problem- quite sad really considering the photo's and the state that they are in

the latest update on the gay indian prine was that he hopes to adopt a child soon:
Gujarat's gay prince of Rajpipla, Manavendrasinh Gohil, who was disinherited by the family for going public about being gay but later taken back into the fold, now wants to carry on the royal bloodline, in a manner of speaking.
The prince, who wants to ensure the lineage does not end with him just because he can't have children, wants to adopt a child and make him the royal heir. Manavendra hit the headlines recently by going on the Oprah Winfrey Show and proclaiming his homosexuality.
