Interesting to see that they are close to Turkeys Royals.
Is Davids and Annas son already baptised?

A recent poll of 1626 Georgians found that 20% believe a monarchy would be the best form of government for their country.

That's 325 people, hardly a majority of any kind. I assume there are more than 1626 Georgians. No one asked them.

Indeed, common sense would dictate that 20% (325 out of 1626) is not a majority.
And, right you are, there are more than 1626 people in the country of Georgia. Which is why this was a poll. Not a nationwide referendum.

Georgia is an indipendent country and is not by any means a part of the Russian Federation. It has borders with Russia, Armenia, Turkey and Azerbajain.

And no, the Georgians didn't apparantely think of reinstating the Monarchy after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
You are absolutelly right, Georgia is an independent country , the Republic. And to be the Republic is the only way to preserve its independence , since The Treaty of Georgievsk (Russian: Георгиевский трактат, Georgievskiy traktat; Georgian: გეორგიევსკის ტრაქტატი, georgievskis trak'tati)signed on July 24, 1783 lead to abdication of Bagartioni .Russian troops took control of the country’s administration and in February 1803 Tsarevich David Bagrationi was escorted by Russian troops from Tbilisi to St. Petersburg. He was pensioned, joined the Russian Senate, and retained his royal style until May 6, 1833 when he was demoted from tsarevich (the Russian equivalent of batonishvili) to "prince" (knyaz), along with other members of the deposed dynasty, following an abortive uprising in Georgia led by David’s uncle, Prince Alexandre Bagrationi.Since then Bagrationi were encorporated into high nobility of Russian Empire. Thus , neither David Bagration, nor Nugzar Bagration have rights to claim for Georgian throne.Once the monarchy in Georgia is established, the Treaty of Georgievsk will again come into power. The prove-the last person who bore the title of Tzar of Georgia was Nicolas II of Russia Nicholas II of Russia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sooner or later monarchy will return in Georgia. Georgia never had Russian Tzar.
About the Georgievsk Treaty... it was about protectorate of Georgian kingdoms by Russian empire. But Russia took over entire Georgia and abolished Sovereignty, abolished the Georgian Orthodox Church and expelled all of the Royal families, some of them were forcely deported to Russia and some were shot dead. The Treaty of Georgievsk is not respected by Georgians and never will be.

Monarchy will return to Georgia and we once again will be a constitutional monarchy officially called Kingdom of Georgia or Georgian Kingdom.
