The couple said they both want a long engagement, that was 2010-11, and then when King Leka I died, they have had that to deal with on top of Prince Leka's political career and many Monarcho-Royalist political changes and duties.

Several reasons for this, including the death and funeral of King Leka I, and Prince Leka's new committments and meetings around the world with Albanian political and monarchist organizations, and also Elia Zaharia's drama and acting committments and studies in Paris.

Royal Visit to USA
HRH Prince Leka II Zogu, and his fiancee Elia Zaharia, had a very successful and enjoyable visit to America earlier this month, visiting Manhatten, New York City, and other places too. They met American hosts, and many ex-pat emigre Albanian-American communities, and the Royal couple were popularly received and are an incredibly positive asset to Albania both at home and as ambassadors for Albania and the Royal dynasty when travelling abroad.

Unfortunately no, i've only seen a few personal photos from people who were there, and not on any official sites or links sorry.
But i would think there must be some official pics on some organisations websites, as the couple visited various American-Albanian emigre communities, and also some Jewish immigrant organisation too.

HRH Crown Prince Leka II Zogu visited this organisation, among many others, in New York, and others elsewhere in USA, and there were photos taken and published of this event.

Tomb of HM King Zog & Royal Family.
The plans to move the graves and remains of HM king Zog and his family from France to Albania in 2012-13 are still intended and under organisation and negotiation with HRH Crown Prince Leka II zogu and the Albanian Government.
These plans would include all the graves of the Royal House of Zogu who died and were buried in exile in France at Thaias Cemetery, Orly, near Paris.
They include HM King Zog (1961), HH Princess Adile Doshishti Zogu (1966), HH Princess Senije Abid Zogu (1969), HH Princess Myzejen Zogu (1969), HH Princess Maxhide Zogu (1969), Commandant (Major) Salih Agolli-Doshishti (1983), HH Prince Tati Essad Kryeziu, Prince of Kosovo (1993).
Also buried at Thaias Cemetery, Orly (Paris), are many of King Zog's Ministers, Officers, and Court Officials in exile.
King Zog's other two sister's both died and are buried in Cairo, Egypt - HH Princess Ruhije Zogu (1948), HH Princess Nafije Kryeziu Zogu (1955).
Other extended family and relatives of The Royal House of Zogu, and descendants of The Zogolli family, are buried in France, Turkey, England, USA, and in Albania.

Is it only to me, or are the Albanian royals not close to other royal families? I cannot remember having seen pictures of them with royal families of other countries.

Yes the Albanian Royal family are friends and close with other Royals, particularly the Bulgarian, Italian, and Spanish Royals.
The main reason why many people don't associate the Albanian Royal family with other Royal families is that originally as the only Muslim Royal family in Europe, and with the Albanian Monarchy being relatively new (1928) they are not historically connected by marriage with other European Royal families.
However, through Queen Geraldine the family are related to many Hungarian and Austrian aristocratic and noble families, like the Counts Apponyi Nagy-Appony, Sztaray, Seherr-Thoss, Strachwitz, Karolyi Nagy-Karoly, Barons Inkey de Pallin.
Through the marriage of King Zog's sister, Princess Senije Zogu, to Prince Sherzade Mehmed Abid Osmani of Turkey (son of Sultan Abdul Hamid II), the Albanian Royal family are related to the Osmanoglu Turkish Royal family.
Also through the Albanian-Turkish General Ziya Pasha Zogolli branch of the Zogu family they have made marriages with Ottoman Turkish aristocratic Pashas and Beys families in Turkey.
Outside of dynastic marriages, the Albanian Royal family are friends and connected with the Spanish Royal family from King Leka's, and Queen Geraldine's, time living in Spain with diplomatic status from 1961.
They also maintained their friendship with the Bulgarian Royal family, also in Spain at this time too 1960's-70's.
From King Zog's time in exile with his family in Egypt 1946-1955, under the invitation and political recognition of King Farouk, the Zogu family became close to the Egyptian Royal family, as well as both the Bulgarian and Italian Royal families, also living in exile in Egypt during the 1940's.
Also in one of my very recent posts in this thread i wrote details of HRH Crown Prince Leka II Zogu's Italian Royal Honours ceremony in Geneva last month, where he was awarded and honoured as a Knight of The Order of Saint Lazarus.
