I was a bit confused, but that's only because I am such out of the loop with many royals. Now I see Guillaume beard free and I am not fond of this. Grow it back

Madame Muselier (née Girault) was a guest at her great-nephew's wedding in 2016. She looked amazing and full of life: no different from how she appears in these photos. Sylviane celebrated her upcoming ninety-second birthday with her family in Albania this weekend...although I believe she was born on 2 August 1927. Nothing like an early birthday party, though!

Today in Royal History is the 91st Anniversary of the birth of the Kingdom of Albania. Ahmet Muhtar Zogolli an aristocrat and hereditary Bey who served as 11th Prime Minister of Albania, Marshal of Royal Albanian Army and 1st President of Albania decided to transform Albania into a Kingdom and took the regnal name King Zog I, King of the Albanians.
In his first few years as King, he was somewhat ignored by other monarchs in Europe because he was a self-proclaimed monarch who had no links to any other European royal families.
In 1938, a year before he was deposed, he married Countess Géraldine Apponyi de Nagy-Appony of Hungarian noble birth and had one son Leka, Crown Prince of Albania.
