As has been noted multiple times in this thread already, there is a very pronounced dearth of legitimate claimants to the Polish throne, and, consequently, the restoration of the Polish monarchy, whether it is to be elective or hereditary, would undoubtedly require an election at least of the stirps of a hereditary dynasty.

From the point when the Henerican articles were issued in 1573, until the May Constitution was adopted in 1791, it was firmly enshrined into Polish constitutional law that the Polish monarchy was purely elective, with the sole qualification being that all candidates had to either be Polish nobles or foreigners of royal blood. The last Polish dynasty that transmitted the Crown through hereditary succession was the Jagiellonian dynasty, which became extinct in 1596.

The May Constitution theoretically created a hereditary monarchy; however, circumstance would not allow it to actually form. Stanisław II Augustus was an elected monarch whose relatives would have no right or claim to the Polish throne unless it was so ordained by the Constitution, but, Stanisław II Augustus's having remained unmarried for his entire life and having no intent of ever taking a bride (hence ensuring that he would have no legitimate issue—he did sire several bastards though), the May Constitution instead designated Frederick Augustus I of Saxony as Stanisław's heir.

However, the House of Wettin has no better a claim to the Polish throne than the House of Poniatowski. The May Constitution provided that Frederick Augustus I of Saxony would inherit the Polish throne after the death of Stanisław II Augustus (which never happened, seeing as the Partition of 1795 erased Poland from the map three years before Stanisław II Augustus even died). It provided that, if Frederick Augustus produced sons, his sons would inherit from him, and, if he did not, the Crown would pass to his daughter, Princess Maria Augusta of Saxony. Frederick Augustus I of Saxony never produced sons, and Princess Maria Augusta never married because all the other European powers were dead set against empowering Saxony or enabling the restoration of an independent Polish kingdom.

The May Constitution did not include any of Frederick Augustus I's other relatives in the succession. In the event that there was no heir to the throne from the line of Frederick Augustus I, then the May Constitution reserved "to the people the right, which shall be subject to no prescription, to elect another house to the throne after the extinction of the first." No member of the House of Wettin who is presently alive has a legitimate claim to the title of King of Poland.

One could find a hereditary claimant with some constitutional legitimacy if one looks to the Romanov claim from the Polish Crown having been joined in personal union with the Russian Crown under Congress Poland, but I suspect that the prospect of putting a Russian house on the Polish throne would be prohibitively offensive to Poles' national pride, especially considering all of the history with the Partitions, Congress Poland, the Polish-Soviet War, the Nazi-Soviet partition of Poland, the Soviet Union getting off without ever having to return the land it took in that partition, and several decades of Poland having been forced to be a Soviet satellite state.

De jure Lithuania has Presidents.

Urach princes are pretenders to non-existing Lithuanian throne.

The first Duke of Urach was married to Princess Florestine of Monaco. The grandmother of Prince Albert of Monaco, Princess Charlotte, was adopted by her father to prevent the German Urachs from inheriting the throne.

[Poland] The Piast Dynasty

In the times of the district breakdown, the shape of the districts and the princes from the Piast dynasty ruling them changed almost constantly. All of them, however, cared more or less about the development of the territories entrusted to them.
But after 182 years, the Kingdom of Poland was united under the scepter from the Piast dynasty of Wladyslaw Lokietek. In the following years the Lokietek and his son Casimir the Great took care of the development of the united kingdom. The fact that Casimir's epoch has been written in Polish history as an epoch of modernization is evidenced by the saying that Casimir found a wooden Poland and left a brick one.
