Why not just make Habsburg–Lotaringiai József Károly King of Hungary?

He is the head of the Hungarian branch of the house who all served as Palatinates, is actually descended from the native Hungarian monarchs and his family has been Hungarian for generations.

The Csavossy brothers were born in Hungary: Baron Josef in 1894 and Baron Endre in 1897. They came from a wealthy and respected family in Hungary. They were well educated. In 1911 their parents died. During the First World War, much of their wealth was lost. They moved to Canada.

After her marriage, Countess Elizabeth Bathory kept her maiden name of Bathory. Her husband added Bathory to his surname. He was then Ferenc Bathory-Nadassy.
