Yes, too much of resemblance. Sadly we know what CP will look like in 30 years or so.

And that photo brings back memories of 70s fashion that make me cringe.

Oh i don't know...i think K.C-G is not un-attractive, but often looks very serious, but i think that has more to do with his demanding job..
 
I found 3 interesting articles (in German) about the Queen and Asparagus of all things which include photos. (I was not sure where else to post them). Google Translate doesn't do an excellent job but it gives some idea about what on earth is going on.

This isn't the original photo. The photo is obviously taken of the queen's photo at an exhibition of Gedda's photos at the Bästekille Fabriken.

Yes, the 70s were not my favorite, but then when I look at what the men wear today and look like slobs most of the time, I wonder what is worse.

Olovson has made also a bust of Victoria in 2012, but so far I haven't found any photos of it.

Just like the old man in Hemingway's Adventures the king has now realized the dream: Fishing marlin. He has been in Cabo San Lucas in Mexico with other fishermen and scientists. Along with including Martin Falklind, editor in chief of Fiskejournalen, the king has all week been out to sea and fished marlin, so-called "Striped marlin" in research and registration purposes.
Margareta Thorgren:
- There is a seminar on fishing, but it's a private trip. A research team is also with.
Neither the King or queen Silvia have any official program items this week in the calendar. But the queen isn't in Mexico. The court doesn't comment on where she is:
- It's a private trip. Therefore, the court does not comment on it, says Thorgren.
