King Carl Gustaf's 30th Jubilee as King: September 2003

I read somewhere the celebrations for Carl Gustaf´s "30-years-king" started today. Is that true? What did they exactly do?

what with the foreign minister's passing ... this celebration might be rather muted or delayed?

The celebration is today. It was a concert and a lunch. Nothing spectacular, but the King ahd a really big celebration in 1998 when he celebrated his 25 year anniversary as a king.

Yes, it was celebrated in september 1998 and the whole family participated. It was a lunch at the palace.

I havent seen a thread for it here on TRF
