Spanish Queen Sofia has pledged to contribute more to further promoting relations between Spanish and Vietnamese women by participating in international projects for rural women's advancement and to develop small credit funds for household economy for the poor.
The Queen said so at a meeting with Ha Thi Khiet, President of the Viet Nam Women's Association (VWA) in Ha Noi on Feb. 20, during an official visit to Viet Nam by King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia

"The enviable economic growth of Vietnam, its enormous potential and its process of reforms, are animating to the Spanish companies to bet by the economic development and social of this great country", it affirmed the King in his speech before the enterprise forum. "Desire to animate to all the presents to analyze these expectations, to be able to work and to collaborate in mutual benefit", added, after indicating that "the presence of Spanish companies in some sectors already begins to be reality, like the power one and the tourist one" and to emphasize the possibilities in other fields.
