Alexandria,

Please remove this photo. It is NOT in Syria, which is on the west side of the Middle Eastern peninsula ... but east of the eastern side of this peninsula, in Bahrain.

I have been in Bahrain. It is near the Qatar and U.A.E. and there are at least two countries between Bahrain and Syria.

In closing, it looks like the Royal Tour of Juan Carlos and Sophia of Spain is taking in another country. On your behalf I will open a new topic called "State Visit to Bahrain", which I imagine will be done in a day. Where next, is anyone's guess.

They will be in Quatar, actualy they are already in Quatar. They only stop in Bahrain for a couple of hours. They return today to Madrid ;)

Those mosaics are incredible. The amount of work that was done is mind boggling. And the details, so lifelike!
