Trip to El Salvador

On the 4th there will take place the Inter-American X Foro of the Microcompany and the Delivery to Her Majesty of the Prize IX Inter-American to the Development of the Microcompany.

On the 5th Dona sofía will attend the Inter-American X Foro of the Microcompany.

Queen Sofia invited of honor in managerial forum

The Government of El Salvador announced that the queen Sofía of Spain will be the invited one of honor to the Inter-American X Foro of the Microcompany, organized by the BID, which will be celebrated in the country from October 3 to October 5.

Gavidia said that the queen Sofía will take part in the ceremony of inauguration of the forum, October 4, together with the president of El Salvador, Elías Antonio Saca, and the president of the BID, Luis Alberto Moreno.

" Really from already we are be extremely grateful with dona Sofía, not only because she identifies and has fought very much for these topics of support to the microcompany and the microfinancing, but because in our country it has been her majesty a person who us has been resting on different reasons ", said Gavidia.

The queen Sofía arrives to El Salvador where she will take part in the inauguration of a forum of microcompanies supported by the Inter-American Bank of Development (BID) and will visit a school that rehabilitates ex-racketeers of El Salvador.

Dona Sofía came to the country today in the night in a commercial flight accompanied by a group of civil servants of the Spanish Government and was got in the international airport by the vice chancellor Eduardo Cálix, as reported the Department of Exteriors of El Salvador.

Sofia is a genuine person, full of candor and immediacy, exactly like her dad. She is absolutely disarming!
 
I´m completely in agreement with you, Queen Sofía is a exceptional person, regal and simultaneously near, simple and also impresionate, always adapted, always in its site. A great person, a great woman and a perfect queen.

I must say that the spanish royals have done a wonderful job in supporting central america like they do. They are very much loved by these people. Thumbs up for the Queen again!!!
 
Queen Sofia is a wonderful Queen who works so hard. She been doing a lots of duties oversea alone.

Queen Sofia meets institutions of the Spanish cooperation

The queen Sofía of Spain met today in San Salvador the institutions of the Spanish cooperation to know the advance of a great diversity of projects that are executed in El Salvador.

The meeting was carried out in the Cultural Center of Spain and the queen Sofía was accompanied by the general manager of the Spanish Agency of Cooperation (AECI), Juan Pablo de Laiglesia, and the Spanish ambassador in El Salvador, Jorge Hevia.

The Queen Sofia concluded visit to El Salvador and made trip to Spain

The Queen Sofia of Spain concluded today a visit of three days to El Salvador, in order to be present at a forum of the BID on the microcompany and to know projects of the Spanish cooperation.

A source of the embassy of Spain in San Salvador said to Efe that the Queen Sofia made trip towards her country this evening, in a commercial flight.
The Queen Sofia came last Wednesday night to take part, the following day, in the inauguration of the X Inter-American Foro of the Microcompany, together with the Salvadorian president, Elías Antonio Saca, and the president of the Banco Interamericano of Development (BID).

Queen Sofia visits Salvadorian ex-racketeers in rehabilitation

The queen Sofía of Spain and the president of the Banco Interamericano of Development (BID), Luis Alberto Moreno, visited a school that rehabilitates ex-racketeers and that one finds in a community saturated of grafitis.

The queen Sofía and the president of the BID were got by a group of children by flags and plaudits in the community Iberia, a marginal neighborhood lashed by the violence in the periphery this one of the capital.
