Queen Sofia will travel to Cambodia in support to the Co-operation programmes of fights against slavery.
The Queen will arrive tomorrow to Cambodia where she will know some of the projects that the Spanish Cooperation develops in the Asian country, as which it carries out Somaly Mam to avoid the sexual slavery of the girls or the bishop Enrique Figueredo with the victims of the mine antipersonal.

/The Spanish royal couple seem to have quite an interest in Asia. Wasn't she/they there several times in the last few years? I know that she was somewhere in Asia when Letizia's sister died.
Does Spain have quite alot of business with Asian countries, or is this just a passion of the Royal couples'?

Empress,
The Queen makes an annual trip every Febraury in which she travels to countries where the Spanish Agency of Cooperation has on-going development projects, most of which are in South East Asia and Latin America.
Last year the Queen was in Indonesia visiting the Spanish volunteers who are helping to rebluid the demage caused by the tsunami.

Really this trip was a part of the trip of last year, must have visited Indonesia and Cambodia, but she suspended her trip and return to Spain for Erika Ortiz's death. Because of it this year has travelled to Cambodia. Her previous trip had been to Africa.
