The Royal Household still has not confirmed it officially but the surest thing is that the trip is cancelled. According to some information, the Congress of the Spanish Language has been cancelled and in this case the King and the Queen they will not travel.

The King has spoken with the President of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, to express his sorrow and the solidarity of Spain.

that was the only right desicion after the horrible earthquake in chile!

What a shame, it was the only right thing to do. I hope the trip is moved to later on in the year when they country has recovered.
