200 people attended tonight the official reception offered by the Kings of Spain at the Palacio de Oriente, to commemorate the 30th anniversary since the proclamation of King Juan Carlos I.
The act counted on the presence of the ex-presidents of the most important institutions of Spain, during the reign of Don Juan Carlos.

Wow the Princess looks radiant and glowing! Are those earrings new? They are pretty nice.

No, she wore them at Fred&Mary pre-wedding concert for the first time.

Thank you all for those amazing pictures. The princes are the image of happiness.
It's so great to see Letizia again, but I bet she was dying to go back to her little girl...

Wireimages has 47 images posted--but I don't have access, so I can only give you all a link to thumbnails:

For those of you excited to see Princess letizia, I read that this was an exceptional event and she will, over the next couple of months, rarely participate in any official events as she is taking care of her baby "personally", which I guess means without a nanny's help for now.

Thanks everybody for the nice pictures! :) It is great to see Letizia so soon after Leonor's birth. I echo those who say that she looks amazing and truly fabulous for having just given birth only 22 days ago. She is either very well made up or the pictures are heavily airbrushed (which doesn't seem true in fitting with the Spanish RF's lowkey approach) as she does not look very tired -- though I'm sure she is as all new moms are.
I saw a close up of Elena and she looked over made up. I don't know if it was the particular image or the ligthing, but Elena looked like she had way too much eye make up on.
At any rate, I think that this celebration is a truly deserving one for the King and Queen and the rest of the royal family, but especially for their Majesties who have really brought the monarchy such a long way. I don't think many people thought that the King and Queen would actually celebrate three years as a monarchy let alone three decades!
It is a great testatment to the King and Queen and their hard work and their strong and solid commitment to Spain and to doing their jobs well that the monarchy is what it is today. The Spanish monarchy may not be the most talked about monarchy, it may not be the most famous, it may not be the most recognizable, or the most glamorous, but I do think it does what monarchies do best: to represent their countries and their country people in a positive manner.
Time and time again, through disasters and unfortunate events but also through happy celebrations, the King and Queen are unified with their country, whether it's providing shoulders to cry on or their sympathy when soldiers come back in coffins rather than their own feet or when Spanish athletes win medals at Olympic games, the King and Queen are there to grieve or to greet.
I think they are such a hardworking and steadfast team, which they have passed onto their children, and which Letizia has greatly embraced alongside Felipe. I think this is a great example of a modern monarchy and Spain should be very proud of their royal family. :)

Thank you for the photos, lucys. I think Letizia looks exceptionally beautiful at this reception -- "glowing" is an apt description, I think. I also wonder what she and I. Elena were talking about -- would love to have been a fly on the wall!
