Grand Duke Henri and the Minister for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs are visiting Laos from today, December 5, to December 8, for the 25th anniversary of the bilateral relationship between both countries:

To mark his 25th anniversary of being member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Luxembourg Olympic and Sports Committee (COSL) Grand Duke Henri has given an interview that was released today.

He talked about his "personal commitment to the Olympic ideal, the values of sport, the expansion of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the challenges of the Olympic family and the exceptional structure put in place for high-level Luxembourg athletes around the COSL":

Grand Duchess Maria Teresa is once again in hot water for staff mistreatment

Following reports that an employee had been mistreated, the Grand Ducal Court, and particularly Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, came under public scrutiny once again in late 2022.
According to the paper, the situation "got out of hand" during the weekend of 29 and 30 October, when the Grand Duchess wanted to try on clothes before a photo shoot for the wedding of her daughter, Princess Alexandra, in April 2023. Additional staff had to be called in as the maids and wardrobe staff reported being overwhelmed.
The Prime Minister is said to be monitoring the situation "very closely" and wants it resolved as quickly as possible.

Today, February 20, Grand Duke Henri received Jorgen Randers, Emeritus Professor of Climate Strategy at the BI Norwegian Business School and "co-author of a book in which he imagines what 2052 could be like":
