According to royalblog.nl Queen Paola 'stole the show' in India. She usually prefers to stay a bit in the background but during this visit she was in the center of attention and visibly enjoyed herself. After she left the building were she met sister Jeanne Devos, there were a lot of Indian photographers outside and HM actually did not walk immidiately to her car, as was planned, but she walked to the street-gate to give the press the opportunity to make some pictures, as they weren't allowed inside.

Article in Dutch here.

And the site about sister Jeanne Devos and her causes: JEANNE DEVOS (available in Dutch only)

According to Het Laatste Nieuws Queen Paola asked Jeanne Devos if it was possible to visit the homeless in Mumbai (Bombay), while incognito. Apparently the incognito visit took place on Friday.

This official visit is really very long.

My computer is bad I just can't see many pics.
I like colors of Paola outfits. In picture, post # 23, Paola seems to have socks, I don't think she wore socks with her outfit, did she bring ones.:ermm:

BTW it is really nice to watch this royal couple during visit, they seem so supporting and attentive to each other.:flowers:

it was a pleasure having them here...i hope they enjoyed our beautiful country...

King Albert and Queen Paola seemed to enjoy the visit. India is a great country to visit.

I hope King Albert and Queen Fabiola will enjoy the visit.

U made a mistake in ur sentence. U said Queen Fabiola instead of Queen Paola.

And also this is the right time for the royals to visit India. Otherwise they would be suffering with the heat, now its winter, so It would be like 20 c degrees right now.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs (and his wife?) had to leave earlier the royal Visit to India because of "their bankbusiness".

Queen Paola is really a beautiful and courageous woman.

(As far as Pr. Diana sitting on that bench is concerned, please allow me to say, that we must not forget, that at that moment, she had to suffer enormeously in her heart and certainly felt extremely alone and abandoned).

Today my mom told me that a few days ago in the newspaper a news came about Queen Paola"s visit to India, and She was really excited to see the Taj Mehal, Charminar and Mahabalipuram.

I am Indian and i have traveled all over the world and In India. I live in Hyderabad. I have been to New Delhi, Agra, Bombay, Mahabalipuram, Chennai and many more places In India.

I do hope there are some big trade deals coming out of this trip for India, guiven the efforts the government went to to entertain TRHs. Alternatively, I hope their trip highlighted to their countrymen what a beautiful country India is, and will lead to a few more Belgians venturig a little further afield for their holidays!

It is very likely that this visit resulted in some great deals. See here for an article in Dutch about the importance of Indian investment in Belgium and Belgium's very special central position in Europe.
