The press service of the Royal Palace sent a press release this morning on the state of health of King Albert. King Albert "suffers from stenosis of the aortic valve that requires a focus for a therapy adapted to his case," says the Palace.
King Albert was hospitalized following stenosis of the aortic valve. The exams passed on Thursday will determine what treatment the King must follow thereafter.

Has the press service always issued press releases 10 days before a medical procedure? I hope it does not imply that King Albert's condition is serious.

Glad to hear that the surgery was successful. Wish King Albert a speedy recovery.

They look like two ordinary senior citizens going out for a walk in the market. Someone who didn’t know them would never tell that they are a former royal couple who still carries the style of Majesty.

Are they on holidays in Marche-en-Famenne as they look like tourists.

Queen Paola owns a house in Villers-sur-Lesse, 20 kilometers from Marche-en-Famenne. Perhaps they have been spending some days in this house in the Ardennes and wanted to visit the local market.

I think they stayed only a few minutes just for the pictures.
King Albert II suffers from skin cancer and may not stay long in the Sun without heavy protecton.
