Today, April 1, Queen Sonja visited Ukrainian refugees and Caritas Norway for a briefing on their work in Ukraine, neighbouring countries and in Norway.

"It made a strong impression to meet those who have experienced the cruel war in Ukraine. They are happy to be safe. It's one thing to be safe - it's another to have a home. The home is only here so far. Everyone hopes and wishes that this cruel war will soon end - in one way or another", Queen Sonja is quoted saying.
