You can see some pictures of young Sonja Haraldsen and we get to know about the fact that her weight changed from 49 kg to 67 kg when she lived in the alps as a young girl

Yesterday I was reading a magazine where I found a comparison between the reigning Queens and the next generation.
There was a comparison between Mette-Marit and Queen sonja , too.
It was written that Sonja had problems to get into the Royal Family after the wedding (in the 60s?), that she wasn't able to become a mother and that she ran away from the Castel.
Is that true or just gossip?

Wow! Nice pics and informations...In some of Queen Sonja's earlier photographies, I can see how similar she was to Princess Martha Louise. I think that when the Princess gets older, she will be as her mother is now. And both are face-makers!

Actually this was Sonja's first official galaportrait as a Princess wearing full regalia.
She surely looked wonderful!
The portraits taken back then were so full of glam and style... I wish they would today more portraits like this nowadays too!
