This is a petty question, but what's the matter with Harald's eye? Is it just a normal droopy eyelid or is it related to something?

Their private lodge is likely a much better option then the royal palace. Less people in and around, more control over who comes in contact.

I'm glad that Harald and Sonja are staying safe. I was worried about Harald especially after the news of COVID-19 broke out.

The President of Iceland has sent a letter to King Harald and Queen Sonja. The letter was sent 11 March but published by the Royal Court on 26 March.
The full letter states: “Your Majesties, I have received the news that Your Majesties the King and Queen are currently in quarantine in accordance with the current guidance and the rules that have now been introduced in Norway due to the coronavirus.
The authorities in the different countries are now working with the situation in their respective countries, but our common goal is to fight this virus. It is unfortunately very difficult, but we in the Nordic countries are now taking even greater advantage of having established a robust health and welfare system over time.
On behalf of Eliza and me, I send you warm greetings to you and all the Norwegian people. “

Hope he is better soon. Do we know what the ailment might be?

Hopefully it is nothing too serious and he just needs a period of rest and recuperation.
Harald has been looking increasingly tired over the last 12 months and maybe they will need to look at adjusting his duties and calendar moving forward to give him more time between engagements.

He was quite ill last Winter, I believe. He looked very frail and had lost weight when attending the funeral of Ari Behn. His looks haven't improved much during the year. But he is old, so recovery takes longer.

Prime Minister Erna Solberg commented on Norwegian TV2:
"I am glad to hear that it sounds like the King is only being checked up as a precaution. I am sure we will see an active King Harald perform his duties this autumn".
