When this girl was singing for the King he looked really moved!

Exactly! Marius often joins his mother and step father to Family events (like the Coronation Celebrations last year).
It was clear right from the beginning that Marius has been accepted by the Royal Couple. He has always been integrated into Royal "Events". He was posing and playing with Queen Sonja already on the first Christmaspictures (in 2001 I think) and he's always pictures with the Royal Family on all Christmasshoot(just as an example)...They wouldn't so so if they didn't accept Marius as a member of their Family.
I also agree with you, I think they have done a fantastic job including Marius into the family. He is always present in Princess Ingrid birthday videos and you can tell that he is a valuable member of the family. Whenever CP Haakon talks about his children, he talks about all of them. I think there is confusion about the "Royal family" and the actual family. I think maybe they are trying to protect him so that he can have the kind of normal childhood he would of had before his mother married into the Royal family. Let's not forget that Marius has a father who is very involved in his life, so he actaully has two families who love him very much. He may not be a "royal" child but he is a MM & HM's child and he will always be a big brother to IA and SM. If you look back you will see Marius at all kinds of offical events and he is photographed with the family. Think about Prince Harry of Britian and how much attention is paid to Prince William and Harry is a royal child. I have always just loved this young man and have also tried to watch to see if he is slighted in anyway because I have a step family, but honestly I can't see where he is or anytime where he seems unhappy to be with his mother and step-father. He acts like a normal young man and seems to be really proud to be a big brother. If he is happy, that is all that matters. IMO

I just watched the videos on U-Tube. Provo to whoever put together the video called "A moment like this". It was great. Thank you whoever you are. I really enjoyed it!!!
Another real quick point on Marius, notice how often HM touches him and guides him. That wouldn't happen if he didn't love him and if that wasn't something he did every day for Marius. I see great love between the two of them. IMO

The King with tears in his eyes:

Article and Picture from Side 2
King Harald had to fight against his tears while listening to a 15 years old singer singing for him after unveiling the Statue of his Mother.

The Norwegian Royal anthem is set to the tune of, and inspired by, "God Save the King". (As it was called back in 1906, when the Norwegian version was written... An appropriate tribute to the new King's father-in-law?)

Gud sign vår konge god! [God bless our good king]
Sign ham med kraft og mot [Bless him with strength and courage]
sign hjem og slott! [Bless home and palace]
Lys for ham ved din Ånd, [Give him light with your spirit]
knytt med din sterke hånd [make, with your strong hand]
hellige troskapsbånd [holy ties of allegiance]
om folk og drott!*[between people and monarch]
2
Høyt sverger Norges mann [Loudly swear men of Norway]
hver i sitt kall, sin stand, [Each in his call, his station]
troskap sin drott. [loyalty to the sovereign]
Trofast i liv og død, [Loyalty in life and in death]
tapper i krig og nød, [courageous in war and want]
alltid vårt Norge lød [always our Norway obeyed]
Gud og sin drott. [God and its sovereign]

The Norwegian lyrics.

We could see the live broadcast here in the Netherlands.

Indeed the King did look emotional when the statue was unveiled and a girl performed a Norwegian lullaby.

The King did look strong, proud and at the same time frail. A wonderful man.

Kjære Kong Harald! Gratulerer så mye med 70 års dagen håper du får en fin dag. Du er en flott konge for landet vårt.

HURRA! HURRA! HURRA!

I always wonder what they will do with this song if Ingrid becomes Queen, it does not really work very well with the lyrics to change ham to henne

At the dinner to night they will serve Konge Krabbe - Kings Crab
So tasty http://www.kirkenesinfo.no/filestore...%20krabbe3.jpg
but actually a bit of pest in the norwegian sea. And other delicacies from the sea
The starter is the King of the forest, moose and for desert, Chocolate Crown, very royal

I find the King's visible and breakable emotion during the unveiling of the statue of his dearest mother worth 1000x more impressive than any of those glitters in ladies' coiffures.
