November 27, 1958: Michiko Shoda and her parents Hidesaburō and Fumiko Shoda attend a press conference at the Imperial Household Agency after Michiko's engagement to Crown Prince Akihito is approved, and she greeted Emperor Showa and Empress Kojun.
