She's not his spouse They are not married
I guess they call her like that, because it would be strange to call her the girl friend of the president

Thanks for the photos!
Rarely do we see the Moroccan royals undertaking an engagement together. It is nice to see Prince Moulay Hassan appearing alongside his parents and getting a training for his future position.
Lalla Salma looked lovely.

wikipedia:
French is widely used in governmental institutions, media, mid-size and large companies, international commerce with French speaking countries, and often in international diplomacy. French is taught as an obligatory language at all schools. In 2010, there were 10,366,000 French-speakers in Morocco, or about 32% of the population.

Lallma is wearing an amazing ruby and diamond collar/breast plate similar to Camilla of Cornwall's. I think I like this one better.

Thanks all for the pictures.
The best picture ever, is the one with all the family including the kids, like if it's a family dinner

I love the style of Moroccan architecture and design, it's majestuous and refined in the same time

Thanks, I guess the kids didn't sit with the guests on the table for the dinner, they just came to welcome them all dressed-up
