Fatima (love that name) and Rashid.
How does one pronounce Saeed? Is it like Sayid pronounced like the writer Edward Wadie Said?

Yes, you did, TD.
But I always pronounced Edward Said's last name, Sayid. I guess I was wrong all those years. But I'm glad to know my Prof.'s never dinged me for it when I studied Said's work as well as other key people in Middle Eastern history such as Ibn Darraj, Abu 'I-Hasan, and al Mansur.
