King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima, Princess Beatrix, Princess Margriet and Prof. Pieter van Vollenhoven together with Prime Minister Mark Rutte attended the Four Freedom Awards ceremony in Middelburg today, May 24.
The US Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt Institute awarded the prize to the International Comite of the Red Cross ( ICRC) and the IFRC.
Other award winners are Maryam Durani and Prince El Hassan bin Talal of Jordan and Hawa Abdi Diblaawe and Malala Yousafzai.

Dutch artist Marte Röling received the Medal of Honour for Art and Science of the House of Orange from King Willem-Alexander today, June 4. Princess Beatrix and Queen Máxima were present as well.
74-year-old Röling has painted several portraits of Queen Beatrix and Prince Claus, including two official portraits of Queen Beatrix in 1982.

HRH Prince Jaime de Bourbon Parma IS a career diplomat employed by the Dutch Foreign Office,ofcourse.

Herman Diederik Tjeenk Willink, retired Dutch politician and Vice President of the Council of State from 1997 to 2012 was honoured with the Cross of Honour of the House of Orange at Palace Noordeinde yesterday, December 9.
King Willem-Alexander handed out the Cross of Honour, Queen Máxima and Princess Beatrix were present as well.

TM hosted the annual gala for the Corps Diplomatique at the Royal Palace,Amsterdam last night.
TRH Princesses Beatrix and Margriet as well as Prof.mr.Pieter van Vollenhoven were in attendance.
