Cant say I care for MAximas gown, its too short and the hatler neck is not so flattering, also I think she needs a better hairdresser, her hair looks messy even when it is done. I wonder who did her hair for Haakons wedding, it has never looked better
Im glad to see the Grand Duchess reocvering from some unfortuante outfits, the colour is very pretty on her
Why is Betarix wearing so much black, is she in mourning still+

The dress looks very nice of the Queen. It is one of my favourites for her. The grand duchess looks nice as well, Maxima's dress seems more suited for a more informal event.
I wonder where Margriet was, as Pieter attended (and I do not see her on the pictures).

Maria-Teresia and the Queen looked superb. Like the colours of Maxima's dress, but I'm not too sure about the upper part. But as always, her smile makes up for it. :)

Maria Theresa seems to be favoring the dark autumn colors like the orange and red outfits she has worn along with the red evening gala.

i must say i loved today's and yesterday's gala gowns of maxima. the train of the purple one reminded me very much of the grey one she wore for the prinsesjdag some years ago. i also think the aquamarine parure is lovely, specially the neckless.
about today's dress i liked the halted neck but it would have looked much nice with a plain and longer skirt. i still like it very much, though. it's young and different.
yesterday's evening outfit was however horrible. the skirt was terrible and the combination of colours was far too much for me :)
maria teresa is looking lovely as usual. that red dress is really flattering and that brooch is a lovely detail. her whole parure yesterday, specially the tiara, looked incredibly stunning. great choice!
i just wish the benelux ladies didn't use natan that much. all their designs look very similar, far too conservative, not very innovative and all their collections look very much alike.

Again, misshelen and maxie, thanks for the beautiful photos without the watermarks. I really like the gowns from this event -- Maria Theresa and the queen look fantastic IMO. I think the material on Maxima's gown is pretty and interesting -- not crazy about the halter design or her hair. I agree with whoever said that her hair looked great at the Norwegian Crown Princely marriage -- wish she'd revisit that style.

I don't really like what CP Maxima is wearing, though the color it's ok. The gala dress should be full lenght!!!

I like these newer gala dresses. A bit fall season with oranges and reds (or a political statement?) And they all seem a bit more comfortable without the tiaras and stiffness of that first night (jetlag, maybe?). Who is that little girl, by the way?

A jetlag? When I start driving at this very moment I will be in Luxembourg within 4 hours, so I don't think so.
But you're right, of course. They all looked a bit tired, especially Queen Beatrix. :(

I think Maria Teresa looked absolutely fabulous in her red gala dress... It suit her well.
I don't know about Maxima, somehow, the length of the skirt is a bit shorter.
Beatrix looks beautiful also..
Here's a couple more from facetoface :
