I mean arabic writing or words. Its very unlikely to use something from the quran except if its the word "Allah".
I was answering in response to Humera who said she has things that had Quranic writing on.

I fully agree with you, its a message...everything that they have done ever since that letter was a message...let's wait and see what else is coming.

It is obviously a message, but I have to admit that I like the picture. Her hair is definitively too long for her age (not only combined with the tiara which is nice but too big and heavy for a frail person like Rania).

Ok so I am cofused. What message is it that they could be sending? They simply did not look that happy to me, but then again, one can not read everything into/from a picture, so if anyone can educate me on the messages that Rania and Abdullah have been sending, and might be trying to send with this picture I would appreciate it.
Thanks

No Empress, the message is not that they're not happy. It is about QR 's position, as someone sent the King an open letter critisizing Rania and the way she's behaving (you can read about it in their thread), so ever since they've been photo-staging many events to prove she is almost equall to the King, and nothing will stop her being that.

What events are you referring to? Queen Rania hasn't appeared in public because of her broken ankle for nearly 2 weeks. As for this state visit, as the monarch's wife, she's expected to accompany her husband to the Netherlands, something that was originally planned more than a year ago.
Im also curious as to which pictures appear "staged" to you as most of the coverage is coming from the Dutch and other European media.

How much taller is Rania than her husband, and does she have to wear such high heels? It looks like she's trying to upstage him. Just my impression. The dress looks cheap and the tiara is, um, ugly. I don't know what the gloves are for. Bad ensemble. King Abdullah is handsome and appropriate as ever.

I am referring to Lil Monkey's posts, she knows more being a jordanian, and the events I referred to are about both KA & QR, the Eid motorcade is one to show power unprecedanted in such an ocasion, then as was referred to in a previous post the departing at the airport and the last one drinking a toast to each other which is also unprecedanted. Why do you think I am talking about this particular visit? there is nothing wrong whith the visit or QR accompanying her husband to it , in fact it will be wiered not to and will look like giving in to the demands of these people who are against her.

Are KA and QR going to visit any muslim communities in the Netherlands on their trip? I don't recognize if any of the above sites have anything to do with the large muslim population there.

Really, the Queen of the Netherlands, the Mayor & Aldermen of the City of Amsterdam and other distinghuised guests were awaiting the royal limousine. And there came Her Majesty The Queen of Jordan.... a skinny girl with loose hair wearing her shopping bag!
The difference between the two Queens could not be bigger!

I was just thinking the same thing. She seems to be fond of large bags but frankly, it's out of place.

Why not? This is a state visit, in terms of protocol the highest possible encounter between heads of state and their escortes.
There is nothing wrong in wearing you hair 'up' (or a hat), wearing gloves and let a hofdame or an aide wear your purse (in Rania's case: shopping-bag). I was annoyed a few days ago when posters (in another thread) named Rania 'the most professional Queen'.
If she was thát professional, she would have given more attention to the impression she leaves on others and also to instructions to let her escorte work as tight and smooth and professional as possible, so that she could step out of the limousine like the Queen of Sheba.
Really, the honourable Mayor & Aldermen of the proud City of Amsterdam have received a lot of distinguised guests, but Rania's arrival must have been the poorest of all.
