5th of June,1568 : Executions of Lamoral, Count of Egmont, Prince of Gavere & Philip van Montmorency , Count of Horne
Following a wave of unrest the duke of Alba had the Count arrested along with the Count of Hoorne on charges of heresy, and imprisoned even though they were Catholic .Both were put on trial and the duke had them executed.
The executions sparked the Eight Years War or Dutch Revolt against Spanish rule.

There is a statue of the two in the park of the Petit Sablon in Brussels, in front of the Egmont Palace. Orginally it was supposed to be placed on the Grand Place on the exact spot where they had been executed. The two are depicted on their way to the scaffold, embraced. One of the historical figures that are depicted on statues around them is William the Taciturn.

I omitted that the Duke of Alba had both Counts beheaded at the Grand Place in Brussels
The arrival of Alba also caused Margaret of Parma to resign as Regent the duchess left for Italy.

I believe he currently holds the record as the longest serving Dutch Royal Consort and was Prince Consort 1901-1934.

Bernard was consort for 32 years, Claus for 22 years. So yes, you are correct.

His assassin Balthasar Gérard received a grotesque death having been sentenced to be brutally tortured and then executed.
He was stripped and flogged and then had honey smeared on his wounds and a goat was let sick the honey from him. He then had his feet boiled in oil and was branded with red hot pokers ,had his finger nails ripped out and had his flesh burnt off and then quartered.

19th of July 1234 : Death of Floris IV, Count of Holland
Floris IV was Count of Holland from 1222 until his death and was buried at the now destroyed Rijnsburg Abbey in South Holland.
At its height it was one of the most important abbey's in the Netherlands until its destruction by Calvinists in 1574 and was the burial site for many of the Counts and spouses.
