oh, maxima is the epitome of happiness! i love how she is always smiling and laughing. besides, it doesn't look at all unnatural, she's genuinely having fun. it's great to see.
her relationship with beatrix is obviously one of the best queen-daughter in law relationships in the royal circle.
she looked great in blue. i think she should dress a bit more simple. all that fru-fru doesn't really suit her.

The Royal party will fly to St.Maarten this morning (local time).
St.Maarten is one of the three autonomous countries within the Kingdom besides Aruba and Curacao. From here HM and TRH will also visit Saba and Statia which have both become dutch municipalities since October 10th 2010 by choice of the people on the islands.Alltho, there's some trouble with adjusting to the Dutch Laws that apply there now,and rules and norms, especially in regard to public spending, instead of spending the bulk in a couple mucho macho islanders,it is now checked by us how and by whom and most of all,too whom, all is spend....
There is a history of spending sprees and then looking towards us here for more dinero....Easy living Caribbean style....Except,there's one thing now, they can't do that any longer with a dutch comptroller on the islands....And that doesn't sit well in some circles there...Not that we care one hoot, they should stop nagging and begging like badly educated kids and grow up and take their responsibility...They have their big mouthes full of anything except of making sense....We took over their multi millions of debts as they were on the brink of bankruptcy due to idiot public spending as they have a hole instead of hands as they laughingly admit themselves...Yeah,well,though luck, the laughing stopped and they are monitored now to stay on the financial road....And now they have big mouthes over that bit...Oh,well,kids....
My favorite part of the Kingdom? No,certainly not! With the exception of Saba and St.Eustatius (Statia),that's heaven on earth...
... .

Oh certainly, the Royal Family is widely respected and loved in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom too. They only see "them" every other year,or after even longer gaps between visits. So when they do visit, the whole island is on its feet, which for St.Maarten includes the French part. Its split between France and The Netherlands since centuries...hence..but Sarko doesn't get this welcome...
Btw,the people on the islands of St.Maarten,Saba and St.Eustatius (where the RF will fly today) dont speak papiamento like they do on the ABC islands, the northern three all have english as their language...the caribbean version that is...grin...And dutch ofcourse, allthough not as widespread as on the ABC islands.
