What a wonderful chance to see almost the whole family together! I love Annette's turquoise outfit. Mabel looks very beautiful and subtle. And not a bow in sight! I think Maxima's outfit looks better with the coat on.

That seems to be the consensus so far!! :)
Oh well, inspite of some of the questionable choices for clothes, I am still loving all of these pictures. Everyone looks like they are having so much fun and really "letting their hair down".

I agree, Maxima looked fantastic in that coat but the dress underneath wasnt very cute. All the royal ladies looked lovely, as usual.
This is definately one of my favorites royal occasions because we get to see the whole royal family being themselves and having fun.
And I have to ask, what are Maxima and Maurits doing when they are jumping in the air? It looks hilarious!

Marilenes outfit was bad the bubble was not made for everyone and the boots just looked odd. Everyone else looked pretty good though.

Wow!! It seems like such a fun event. It is nice to see the royal family isn't afraid to show their more fun, silly sides.

Koek happen if I'm not mistaken. A biscuit hangs above your mouth and you're supposed to take a bite from it without using your hands. Normally you're blindfolded as well. I'm very grateful this is not a Belgian tradition :o

On the pics were Maurits and Maxima are jumping in the air, you can see that they're busy with the so-called 'koekhappen', but it was a digital version of the real game. 'Koekhappen' is an old Dutch tradition. You take a rope, attach a piece of cake to it and you string the robe with the cake to a branch of a tree or something else that's high. The cake will be just hanging above your mouth and you get something before your eyes (like a piece of cloth or something like that) so you can't see what you're doing. All you have to do is trying to eat the cake and well, that's hilarious. So, that's what Maurits and Maxima are doing, but as a virtual computer game, this time.
Just search on google for 'koekhappen' to get an idea of what the real thing is like... :)
