It looks like they're enjoying their "much needed" vacation. Masako looks so happy and relaxed... not all tense like she usually did in recent photos. The little girls are adorable... and hopefully will make permanent friendships.

I really enjoyed seeing the pictures of Princess Masako. She seems very happy.

I hope this is a time when she could really relax. Wouldn't it be amusing if she gets pregnant on this trip and has a boy? What would the Imperial Household do then??????

Someone would be kicking themselves: we should have sent them to the Netherlands years ago!!!

She is my favorite of all the Princesses. I read somewhere that she was at a dinner with (i think) Clinton and Yeltsin. She turned from one to the another and went from English to Russian without turning a hair. I think that is impressive!

I really hope she will be able to be away from all the pressure and just enjoy her little girl. Who is adorable too!

I really enjoyed the photos of the Dutch and Japanese royals.

Seeing Princess Amalia & Princess Aiko hand in hand, smiling, waving..it was so adorable.

And they are such beautiful little girls.

I wish the Crown Princely family of Japan the rest and privacy they need and deserve. May Masako find peace and wellness
