Singer
Princess Christina had a kind character. A key memory is of her singing at her mother's funeral - a brave thing to do.

I do not know if Princess Christina had a kind character. But a gifted and professionally educated singer singing at her parents' funeral was in the line of expectation, I must say. She has sung at various baptisms, weddings and funerals.

But then at the time flashlights were a must and maybe due to Christina's

Btw,it was in the Dom kerk, not a Cathedral,well...it used to be Basilica at least in the
middle ages until the reformation that is...

Yes sorry I meant the Dom Church (former Cathedral) and also where the late Princess and Jorge Guillermo married in June 1975.

I believe the funeral will take place on August 22, with the cremation taking place after that.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. The classicist garden pavillion in the park of Noordeinde Palace is a venue of the greatest beauty. Wow. I also like the free sunlight falling through the windows, no closed curtains and blinds. What a place to lie in state, wow: https://www.ppe-agency.com/500px/Aug...PE19082036.jpg

That laying in State is really beautful done. Also the Pavillon is very beautful. Wonder why they did not use this pavillon for the lying in State's of Queen Julian, Prince Bernhard and Prince Claus.

My condolences to the family of the late Princess Christina.
I agree...the sunflowers are stunning. Also, one of my favorite flowers.

indeed, very beautiful. i love how the light fills the room and the beautiful wreaths with the names of all the family members. so beautifully done.
i wonder who Kai / Numa / Aida are. are they juliana's children? i am also assuming that since eva isn't in the wreaths that she probably divorced bernardo? no signs of christina's husband either - how disrespectful of him.
also interesting to note that WA's crown has his name as 'alexander'. i wonder if this is how he is known in the family in an informal setting.

Kai and Numa are the sons of Juliana and Tao and Aida is their daughter.
Jorge is not part of the family, so no name included in the wreaths. The same for Bernardo's wife Eva.
