Shaikha Mouza bint Saif bin Hamad Al Sharqi died on last Thursday. From God we came and to him we return. May her soul rest in peace.

She was the sister of the Deputy Ruler of Fujairah, Shaikh Hamad bin Saif bin Hamad Al Sharqi.

Fujairah: The Fujairah Ruler’s Court is mourning the death of Shaikh Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi, Deputy Ruler of Fujairah, who died on Wednesday.
The funeral prayer will be held on Thursday after Dhuhr prayers at the Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Fujairah.
His Highness Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, will accept condolences at Al Remailah Palace from Thursday.
A three-day mourning period has been declared in Fujairah. UAE flags will be flown at half-mast during the mourning period.

According to this article & Aljazeera tv, the sheikh asked for asylum. It seems that he fled his country.

Years late, but what's the reason for him to ask for asylum? The link provided are paid articles so to speak idk where to start either considering if I searching for his name many name will pop out due to so many of them who share similar name with this guys ? and why in the world he ask asylum in Qatar which is @ the time had conflict with UAE, why not other countries then?
