Zara doesn't have what most would consider to be a regular 9-to-5 job. She was probably training her horses, though.

I know Zara spends a lot of time training with her horses.
Is she still training for the Olympics? Does anyone know?

Zara and Peter went to the Golden Jubilee service in 2002, but not Trooping the Colour, that I can recall.
She's still training with the goal of riding in the Olympics, and, from what I can tell, is doing very well and has a good chance of being on the team, but that's two years away and a lot can happen in two years, so I don't know for sure that she'll make it.

Thanks Kelly!
Good for her!
I really hope to see her competing for her country at the next Olympics. That would really be great. I wonder if the royal family would all attend to cheer her on. Those would be some great photos.

I don't recall seeing Zara attend the trooping the colour since she was really little. Maybe no more than 5 or 6. I guess she felt that she was there for her grandmothers actual birthday which was April 21st. That was more important to her.

I agree Kelly1972. While Zara's family is important to her the whole 'Royal' family seems less important to her.

I think she just doesn't like attending these "royal functions" but still likes to hang out with her family.

Attending Royal Functions
As I understand it, Anne instilled this value in her (not being a "Princess"), however she really seems to be a star of overtly royal action. For one, she's an Olympic hopeful, and then her personality and visage appear, to me, to be very epicurean and at the same time not having her head in the clouds.
Of course, you might say, that she's what we call here a tomboy, or in England you may something else, but basically what it means is a woman of sport or daringness. It can be a very admirable quality and the advantages in this day and age are clear. Even if she hadn't been born into Royal lineage, she may have been an Olympian or Olympic hopeful regardless. I believe that it is good genes that gets you places above all, but related to being in the right place and knowing the right people along with the golden rule. She seems to be above all, a great lady, in most respects, and in other respects we are left to have high opinions as only Zara could garner.
The last thing that I would like to say is that I wish Mike was a soccer player, that way I could watch a match, but it appears we are left to the World Cup.

I want the world and Olympic crowns
Zara Phillips introduces her horses like a mother with her children. 'This one is Noddy,' she says, referring to her most famous mount, Toytown, by his pet name.

It's nice to see Zara with her cousins William and Harry. The 3 of them seem very close and at ease in each others company. Thanks to all for posting the new pics of Zara.
