Doesn’t it just. Tea-houses are a thing by the look of it Pranter.
There are lots of photos of Oprah Winfrey’s tea-house on the net. Quite different to the Sussex’s.
The Children’s Playhouse looks interesting too, a good studio or office space if their son doesn’t want it. (The roundish building covered in flowers just behind the playground ... the one with the sculpture of the boy and dog on the side.)
I would link some photos I’ve saved - I like property - but I think a lot of sites have been scrubbed, and some fan sites have mistakes in them.
Of course, any photos that have been seen would be changed by the Duke and Duchess as they make it more their home.
Even some photo are from different sales years with different furnishings, so what we’re seeing won’t be what the couple end up living in.
The layout of the grounds won’t change much I guess.
Having that creek run through it must be a plus in such a dry place. If they keep Archie away from it for safety, but the same could be said of the swimming pool.
(Here in Australia all pools have to have child-proof fencing around them.)
Water must be an issue. I’ve been reading that Ms Winfrey only has two private wells, and there has been some disgruntlement about her accessing other water.
The Sussexes are reported as having four private wells. Plus less land to keep green, so they should be ok.

I'd never seen a tea house until recently and that's only in pictures, that doesn't exist in my part of the U.S. ..it must be a west coast thing?
I don't know about the water there. We live rural so we have a private well. It's common here.

Delightful. The property is small, where is Harry going to put the barn for his polo ponies(jest). I'm sure he will be playing in polo charity functions. I think this probably influenced the buying of the property in this area. Great for Harry I think he must miss the thrill of riding and his polo buddies.

Just when you thought 2020 couldn't get any weirder.

This is an unsubstantiated report from the Daily Fail, which constantly drags up negative and imaginative stories about the Sussexes. Note that it says that Harry is going to borrow helicopters, thereby establishing a freeloader narrative again.
I'll believe it when I see photos of Harry in a helicopter at this club, or when he and/or Meghan speaks about it.

But come on unnamed 'royal sources' are always reliable
The DM is totally unbias. They would never print anything that wasn't fully proven to be true first. I mean they wouldn't want to paint Harry and Meghan in any kind of negative light at all.
Harry hasn't felt the need to keep up his flying since he left the army how many years ago. Why would he suddenly now?

You need to keep your flying hours up each year about 200 hours for a light aircraft. (Used to be). He hasn't piloted apparently in the last six years after leaving the Army. Also he would need to learn how to fly civilian aircraft/choppers as there are different rules from military craft to civilian craft.
So the entire DM story sounds like a beatup.

Aww, how wonderful - Charles and HM organized a Zoom call for Harry’s birthday! Pa - love it!
Quote:
The source said of the call: “It was very pleasant. Harry told the family how much he missed them.
“Meghan baked a cake and Harry blew out candles. Archie made them laugh when he also blew them out.”
Archie, now 16 months old, also thrilled Charles when he said “Pa”, short for grandpa.

I'm glad the Windsors are also doing their bit to still keep in touch with Meghan and Harry. Lovely to hear that Charles organised the Zoom call - he seems to be very caring, particularly for his family.

I love that even though there’s hurt between them that they aren’t letting it divide them. There are many families who allow hurt and anger to divide them...Here, it appears that’s not the case, and that means the wounds can heal.

Curious as to know why "sources" feel the need to share this sort of private intimate information. Even more puzzled as to why the British media continues to report this sort of stuff.

Most likely as a positive counterbalance to all the negative reports we've relentlessly had for the last few months of an apparent fracture in relations between Harry & Meghan and the Royal Family. I personally welcome seeing a more positive report on the matter for a change.

I can see the logic in that. I do wonder what the level of interest is in Britain now. I suspect many would be happy for a period of silence but that's just a guess.

Can you imagine the press if HM and PC had not done that?

I’m also very glad for it. I’m frankly tired of being so negative - and I enjoy seeing the family “together”. It makes me feel good in spite of the book and all that’s gone down..
