A toilet seat used by Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, during an impromptu visit to an East Sussex pub is being auctioned for charity.

BBC NEWS | England | Sussex | Loo used by Camilla is auctioned

The landlady said - "I've never sat on a public toilet, but after she left I went in there and said 'My derriere has been touched by royalty', so in reality people are buying a toilet seat used by a landlady, yeuk.:nonono:

I can't really believe that anyone would actually buy a toilet seat just because the Duchess of Cornwall sat on it but.... at least the money raised will be going to charity so it is for a good cause.

I wonder what will be next though....:ROFLMAO:

I read that Prince Charles favorite Christmas present was a wooden toilet seat. Maybe he will buy the toilet seat for the Duchess as a Christmas present!!!!!!

Especially as Camilla already has a perfectly good professional make-up advisor who specialises in a 'natural look' + also highly regarded dress-designers in Valentine/Robinson (for day wear) & Vivienne Westwood (for evening wear). So why should she go to anyone else or take advice from somebody like Kate Middleton who is almost 40 years younger!

And not to knock on Miss Middleton, since when has Kate been declared "a real expert on beauty"? Did Katie Nicholl just came up with the new title?

Is that a coat or a dress? I think she looks very good and the cut is impeccable.

i have to agree with you Menaru ; the Duchess looks good in this coat (or dress) .
but what i didn't like much the color of the hat ; i think those too colors (dress and hat ) not much nice with each other !

Yeah the DOC is back ans she's in great shape! I note a new hat for her endless collection (love the fabric and the color).
The coat is ok but i'm not a big fan of the "Texas girl' details... The overall effect is lovely though.

This outfit got its first public outing in Japan. Looks very nice, though I am no fond of the tassles / detailing around the shoulders.

It is a lovely photo of her, she looks so happy.

THE painting I think captures one thing P.Charles said 'she smiles with her eyes'. Its a good painting in that sense and definitely doesn't try to make her look younger. The DM Mona Lisa reference seemed like a blantant attempt to lead readers to make negative comments. I hope they don't fall for the hype.

I LOVE the portrait. It captures the spirit of HRH perfectly. Just wish we had a full version of it.
