I thought that the outfit she wore to the base was however very causal for a royal engagement.
Perfectly fine for the jumping in jets and playing with dogs :)

Many people here are not interested in anything they do, some have no idea who Edward is!

Sky do you think that people are not interested in anything they do because they have kinda taken themselves off the rader or because people are too wraped up in the royals that sit alittle closer to the throne?

Many people don't seem to have any interest in any of the royals. Those that have an interest seem to know about HM, DoE, Charles, Anne, Camilla, William & Harry, but who Edward, Andrew, Sophie and any of the children are is a mystery, so your suggestion that they are too far from the throne is spot on. Zara raises more interest because many young girls are interested in ponies but I don't think it has a great deal to do with her being the daughter of a Princess.
If you ask them about any lesser known 'celeb', they can tell you the life story and spot them a mile away!

The first picture is really odd. Edward looks completely unlike himself and about ready to howl at the moon.

Very nice couple of pictures. It would be interesting to hear the conversation.

So interesting you should say that, I was thinking the dog was trying to communicate something to its handler. Are you aware of his recent bad press regarding his own dog?

From today, October 10th to October 13th, Prince Edward will attend
the Commonwealth Games Federation General Assembly, Delhi, India.
He's the Vice Patron of the Commonwealth Games Federation.
Here's a pic of him together with Suresh Kalmadi, Chairman Organising
Committee Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi, ahead of the Commonwealth
Games Federation General Assembly in New Delhi, October 10, 2009.
New Delhi will host the 2010 Commonwealth Games, with 71 nations
competing in 17 disciplines from October 3-14, 2010.
