Richard Palmer Answering Basic Questions About The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge-
Richard Palmer‏@RoyalReporter:
As you know, the royals make it up as they go along but aides say Will and Kate won't attend state dinners while part-time.

Richard Palmer‏@RoyalReporter:
So my best guess would be they'll attend state dinners, ceremonial welcomes etc when William is doing royal duties fulltime.

On Foreign Tours for 2013:
Richard Palmer‏@RoyalReporter:
I think they'll do at least one foreign tour in 2013, unless Kate is pregnant.

Richard Palmer‏@RoyalReporter:
As before, they make it up as they go along but generally don't do overseas tours in August. UK spring and autumn are usual.

I'm looking forward to the pictures and perhaps some videos of their official engagement today.

I think Royal Reporter (#385) is being less than accurate when he says "the royals make it up as they go along". That's journalese for "they don't tell us everything"

Exactly. The BRF are a well oiled organization.

Also, William likes to keep his cards close to the vest

Well, I have heard in some royal documentaries that "the royals make it up as they go along" don't know if it's true but that's not the first time I have heard royal reporters and royal historians say that.

We are getting more information in advance of a royal visit than we normally do. I'm surprised because of security issues. Hope the weather holds off and it all goes to plan, but Cambridge and Peterborough have flood alerts in place !

Lol, nice speech from William. I like the dig he took at Harry.

His brother is never far from his mind.

No doubt members of the public are wishing the Cambridges well on producing an heir.

Can William attend an event without making a joke about Harry?:bang:
At least, he's starting to recognize they're easy ones... and not so funny btw:whistling:

:previous:
It's was meant as a light-hearted joke, the sort of banter loving brothers exchange all the time.
Doubt William was poking fun at Harry. :)
