Today, October 26, Princess Anne attended the 20th anniversary of the Royal Naval
submarine HMS Talent's commissioning at HM Naval Base, Devonport, Plymouth. The

On November 11, Princess Anne has opened the Lord Ashcroft Gallery and
the Extraordinary Heroes Exhibition at the Imperial War Museum, London.

During the event she met a former north-east royal protection officer who
saved her from being kidnapped, he was shot three times as he put himself
between Anne and a gunman during the failed kidnap bid in 1974.

Today, November 25, the Princess Royal has attended an investiture ceremony
at Buckingham Palace.

Princess Anne and her husband Tim Laurence are on an official three-day visit
in Seychelles from November 29 to December 1st, 2010. Parts of the programme
have been a visit to the Commonwealth War Graves and the opening of the
University of Seychelles, today a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site,
Environmental Research Centre, Aldabra Atoll is planned.

The journey goes now, from today, December 2nd till December 4th, Anne and
Tim are on an official visit to Mauritus. The couple arrived late last night, looking
like normal tourists :)

She indeed wore white gloves. The author is the woman wearing the blue dress.

She also went to The Chaps de Mars for the The Air Mauritius Sun Resorts International Jockeys’ Weekend but she wore black gloves there.

On December 15, Princess Anne attended a luncheon in aid of the StareheFuture
Appeal in London. StareheFuture Appeal is a UK-based appeal to raise £10m to
secure the short and long-term futures of the Starehe Boys' and Girls Centres in
Nairobi.

On January 26, Princess Anne has unveiled a plaque to commemorate the
opening of the renovated headquarters of St. Andrews First Aid, Glasgow,

and she visited the Arria sculpture in Eastfield, Cumbernauld, Glasgow. The
10-metre-high public art sculpture was designed to boost the town’s image.

Princess Anne has been the guest of honour at the annual Yeoman Warders
dinner at the Armouries building in the Tower of London, 16 February 2011.

Princess Anne has been on a three-day visit to Bangladesh from March 1st till March 3rd.
She met with dignitaries and toured projects, learning about the Commonwealth country
she had already visited three times before.

I agree she didn't look scared. A bit surprised, who wouldn't be when a fox is running across a professioanl rugby stadium, and perhaps bemused at it but definitely not a look of fear.

Jockey Sam Waley-Cohen riding Long Run celebrated with Princess Anne after
winning the Gold Cup race at the Cheltenham Festival horse racing meet in
Gloucestershire, western England March 18, 2011.

Waley-Cohen became the first amateur jockey to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup
for 30 years when he steered 7-2 favourite Long Run to a thrilling victory on
Friday.
