Signatures of Royals

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I have an autograph of Princess Michael of Kent. :D I got it from ebay, but I only bid for it because it was such a rare and beautiful picture.

My mother owns a handsigned book by the late Duke of Windsor.

HA!That way I guess we can all get several autographs ;) :D
But the handsigned book must be very precious :flowers:

This is such an interesting thread- I love it! Really puts a personal touch on the royals. Especially love the photo of the Dutch Royal Family photo with signatures around it.

What about Princess Michael of Kent's signature? Does she sign "Marie Christine" or "Princess Michael" or whatever else?

Thanks Dierna! I was really curious about it...

You're very welcome, MAfan. :flowers: Well Mel, the first autograph indeed belongs to me. ;)

The next time you two have some tea, you'd better invite me, dear, you know I'm jealous :p

Why certainly, Darling! ;) Btw, the second autograph is just from Ebay, always a rich source for signatures/autographs...

Thanks Principessa!
I must admit I really like Edward VIII's signature...

King George V had a nice signature. I like it :)

Wow! So many signatures! Thanks principessa!
Some of them looks complicated, like Elizabeth I. And I don't even understand some.
But they are all nice and interesting.

Who is this Princess Xenia of Saxony? I can't find her in the genealogies of the Royal Family of Saxony...

i can only think of one person named xenia who is related to the royal house of saxony......she is the illegiitmate daughter of iris, herself a morganatic daughter of prince georg timo of saxony....she is said to use the title "prinzessin xenia von sachsen" !!

So, she is not a Princess of Saxony; "Prinzessin von Sachsen" is just her surname...
