Uppsala Cathedral continued to act as the Coronation site for Swedish monarchs until 1719.

After that the Storkyrkan in Stockholm became the new Coronation site.

Louis was crowned June 7th 1654 aged 14 at Reims cathedral,his mother queen Anne had acted as queen Regent of France following the death of Louis XIII in 1643 until her son reached his majority.

One of his doctors reportedly told him that that was precisely what would happen - and the Coronation was postponed and scaled down.

The king was just 12 at the time and his uncle the Duke of Orleans was acting as his Regent.
The Regent was assisted by the Cardinal Dubois and the Duke of Maine.
The king was declared of age in 1723 and no longer required a Regent.
