Love the pics of this little family. The love between them an their daughter is so clear. Makes me even happier to see the new addition soon:flowers:

Forgive me but why does Princess Stephanie look distressed? Is it just me?

:previous: I think the article is telling us she was emotional about something. Do we have any Spanish speakers here? I can't select the text to put it into a translation program.

My Spanish is a bit rusty, but the big text seems to say she is crying at the tribute that was being paid to her family. And the smaller text posted as part of the picture where they embrace just about an emotional and touching scene where she is embracing Princess Caroline.

Thank you.:flowers: I thought it might have been happy crying, not distressed crying.

The princess Stephanie is crying because her brother, the prince of Monaco, had just announced a special award to her for her efforts in keeping the circus festival alive in memory of its founder, their father prince Rainier:flowers:

Thanks I was simply translating the little text that was visible enough for me to read. No mention of Albert/Rainier but it sounded like that was likely what was happening.

:previous: I think they are suffering from warmth/touch withdrawal! For such a "touchy-feely" couple, having to refrain from overt signs of closeness and affection is probably pretty dire. Nice to see they got a chance to "be themselves" even for a very short moment on this trip.

I agree. Im sure they were glad to leave;)
Something as simple and natural as placing your arms around each other, like they did in Qatar

A beautiful embrace between sisters, Princess Caroline and Princess Stephanie at this year Circus festival

Its actually a lovely moment where Stephanie is presented a surprise award, she gets really emotional (in a good way) and is overcome with tears. Albert calls the rest of the family forward to join in and Caroline is straight in embracing her little sister in, what is to me, a very much big sister type way (at about 1:06 in the video).

I love the photo with Leo and Sofia :flowers: Sofia does seem like such a loving/doting grandmother to all of her grandchildren.

:previous: Thank you for sharing, that's a lovely photo! I've never seen it before.
Infanta Elena and Infanta Cristina were sweet children, they remind me a little of Infanta Leonor and Infanta Sofia, even the hair colouring is similar (expect Elena's and Cristina's is a little lighter than Leonor's and Sofia's now, I think). I love how Queen Frederika is holding hands with Elena and Cristina, that's really sweet.
