From 1998 to 2001 Victoria lived in the US and studied at Yale university. She lived in Stamford at the home of a friend of the royal family and she had her best friend Caroline Svedin staying with her almost the whole time.
But she also spent a lot of time in New York city where her boyfriend at that time, Daniel Collert, lived.
Because of her illness, she was mostly left alone but there was a few photos of her and she also met journalists in may 1999 and gave some interviews.

Her son isn't a Habsburg Archduke because his father is a Spanish noble (Duke Eric Alba-Teran d'Antin). Seegerpress has the caption wrong.

Yeah Lady Gabriella graduated in 2004 (I think that was the year) & Princess Michael made those comments either right before or right after her daughter's graduation.

I believe that Prince Nikolaos lived in New York City in the mid 90s- I recall reading an article that described his internship at Fox television. Soon after the internship was completed, his former co-workers were shocked to see him as the best man at Prince Pavlos and Marie-Chantal's wedding. Apparently, he had not let anyone know his background!

Excuse me, but, the United States is full of culture and glamour. That is why so many Europeans travel here and were obsessed with our soap operas, ie: Dynasty and Dallas.
Many people find the the diversity of my country fascinating to visit just as many Americans find Europe fascinating to visit.

I apologize if my comment offended you or anyone else. I was just trying to say that in my opinion I find Europe to be more interesting because of its vast history and the deep culture that has appeared there. As a Canadian who travels to the US several times a year, I was not trying to insult the US or its culture. I just wanted to point out the differences between culture there and in Europe. I agree that it important to respects each the cultures of each country.

So I heard from my dad that someone he works with says that they live in the same neighborhood as a royal. He thinks its a son of a king or someone high up there. Does anyone know if a royal lives in Tucson, Arizona or at least has a house out here? If someone could at least point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Princess Firyal is very big on the New York society scene.
Prince Haakon went to USC Berkeley for his undergrad if memory serves me correctly.
And I believe one or two sons of the current Crown Prince of Yugoslavia were born in Chicago!
That, by U.S. law, makes them have dual U.S. citizenship....unless they have already renounced it..

Hereditary Prince Peter of Yugoslavia was born in Chicago while his brothers the twin princes Philip and Alexander were born in Fairfax, Virginia; but they now live in Belgrad with their family.
