You would think that at least they'd mix things up a bit and show Cressida *arriving* at the theater for a change of pace.

Poor photographer, (if it's the same person!) Waiting, waiting, every evening for the same shot of one woman, just in different clothes. Is the Fail hoping that one night Prince Harry's going to appear and drive her home?

I think they're looking for a shot of her looking upset so they can sell it to the tabloids who will use the angle of "Morose Cressida still reeling months after Harry's engagement, as she tries to distract herself with her theatre play."

P.S. On reflection I've decided that Cressida, while definitely a serious girlfriend, was never going to be happy with Harry in the long term. That break-up was fated. Cressida is not a might-have-been. Chelsey is imo.

I think it was wrong timing for Harry and Chelsy they both had some partying to do. If they could have stayed together those years maybe they might have had a marriage children etc

I don't think they were suited to each other.

I think Cressida would be the first to agree. They weren't 'in love'. Or do you mean Chelsey?

True. She would have married him as a loyal British citizen, and Harry would have gained a large and bouncy extended in-law family similar to the Middletons. But he treated her shabbily, and in the end it just wasn't a mature relationship for a marriage imo. Harry was still too unsettled back then (and not 'in love'). I think it's all turned out right. Just watching him now and it's clear he's a changed man. He's met his match in Meghan. Fortunate in his position to have done so.

Ingrid Seward, Cressida's mother's best friend, said later that Cressida became upset with people passing her on the street and making comments on her hair, clothing and boots etc in her hearing, also with being photographed all the time. I think the couple were serious about each other but Cressida couldn't stand the comments from the public. There is no evidence whatsoever that Harry treated Cressida badly in any way.

Yes, the usual nastiness that the Fail specialises in, with the reporter digging oh so hard for dirt and spitting innuendos about infidelity on Meghan's part left, right and centre.

In this we will have to agree to disagree.
I think he did act badly regarding the wedding invitation situation that led to their break-up. But I also think he learned a lot from his past girlfriends and made sure not to make the same mistakes with Meghan.

Ingrid Seward, who knows both Cressida and her mother, must have been telling lies then about the cause of the breakup when she spoke about it in public. And Cressida hung on for two years and Chelsy for about seven so Harry can't have been that bad a boyfriend.

Wedding invitation situation? None of us know that...and I've never seen anything indication Harry treated any of his girlfriends badly.
Cressida was in her early 20's, ready to start a career and that did not involve working for the BRF and living in a fishbowl. I don't think either of them were that into each other after a time.

Had to google as had not heard the wedding invite....always heard Cressida breaking up over the constant criticism and pressure. But I found this.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/ukn...-air-fare.html
According to it, Cressida didn't want to pay for the flight to the US to attend Guy Pelly's wedding.
The article suggests that they were already on the road to breaking up, the criticism got too much. And she didn't want to spend the money because she knew the relationship was failing.
Even if true, nothing about it suggests Harry treated her badly. Unless one is going to suggest he was treating her badly by not picking up the tab.
I never got the thought ever Cressida and Harry were serious. She was young and fun, someone for him to take out when he was in the country. She was fresh out of college, and dating a prince, while her career got off the ground, was fun. I think they both knew from the start that neither was serious in this, and it ran its course.

That was the impression I got too...it was convenient for them both and they had some fun. I just remember the 'glum' look when the media would see them getting off the train etc. You could tell she was even less than thrilled with media attention. I don't remember them harassing her though but I could of forgotten.
