It isn't a great difference, but she's still older than him.

The head of the girls' physical education department at my old high school is 13 years older than her husband. When I was first there in the fall of 2004, she was 40 and newly pregnant with her first child, a boy. He was born in May of my grade 9 year, three weeks early. One Friday when our regular teacher was out sick, she took us into the weight room and demonstrated something on one of the machines. Needless to say she had the baby over the weekend. She went on to have another boy a few years later.

And her younger sister Princess Elena of Romania (b.1950) is 14 years older than her husband. Family tradition, it seems!
